These days, the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization volunteers, equipped with military bullet-proof vests and helmets, are distributing “emergency kits” including food products, beverages, sweets and children’s games to the residents of the South.
The situation of warfare in the South could not leave indifferent the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization volunteers; therefore they immediately announced that they intend to start a special campaign: the distribution of “emergency kits”.
Rabbi Yossef Cohen, Chairman of the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization has explained that the food packages, which are usually distributed all year around, include a wide range of basic food products like: rice, oil, noodles and others, but as for the packages for the residents of the South, those have been prepared especially for them and the emphasis has been placed on particular food products, such that can be eaten on the spot without cooking or baking, like cans of tuna fish, corns kernels, pickles, pastries, and also sweets for the children. to each kit some new games and new toys were added for the benefit of the children and also gifts and additional surprises.
The “Hasdei Naomi” Organization trucks drivers and the volunteers equipped themselves with military bullet-proof vests and helmets. Additionally, in order to supply maximum protection to the volunteers and to the families, who come to receive the food packages, some of the distribution points have been temporarily moved to refuges and protected shelters.
