Chasdei Naomi and the Emuna BaMikzoa list have established a joint project to provide legal aid for families who need legal advice when dealing with the authorities

Rabbi Yosef Cohen, Chair of the large charitable organization Chasdei Naomi, and Adv. Yosef Weizman, head of the Emuna BaMikzoa list, together with attorneys Menachem Moskowitz and Shlomo Linzer have agreed to establish a legal department for people with low incomes.
As part of the innovative project dozens of needy families, who will be referred by Chasdei Naomi, will be able to receive legal advice, guidance and representation in the courts, completely free of charge!
In the ceremony marking the start of this project, Rabbi Yosef Cohen expressed his heartfelt thanks:
“Today our tens of thousands of volunteers throughout the entire country are being joined by dozens of new volunteers, but this time they are lawyers!
I value and cherish your willingness to devote your time and your professional expertise for the benefit of people in need. This is not to be taken for granted and is a cause for admiration. Over the years we have encountered a great many cases of families who have challenging and complicated dealings with the various authorities or with the enforcement and collection authority, and do not have the means to hire a lawyer to represent them and resolve their difficult situations. We are sure that this project will help dozens of families every year to extricate themselves from this situation and begin a new chapter in life.”
Attorney Yosef Weizman thanked Chasdei Naomi for the privilege they have been awarded of collaborating with such a large charitable organization and said he was greatly moved by this cooperation. “I was not surprised by the quick response of dozens of lawyers to this charitable project within just a few hours; these are high-caliber people with a sense of values, who together with their skills have big hearts and generous spirits and I thank them warmly.” Attorney Weizman also thanked Attorney Menachem Moskowitz and Attorney Shlomo Linzer, the heads of the Emuna BaMikzoa, list who were also present on this occasion and have gladly joined this important project.
