Betar Yerushalayim Participates in the Chasdei Naomi Food Collection Campaign

This Passover season, Betar Yerushalayim held a campaign to collect food baskets for needy families so they can celebrate the Passover holiday with dignity and joy.

On Saturday night (March 17), in a home game against Maccabi Netanya, a truck was waiting outside the stadium with representatives from the Chasdei Naomi association, and fans donated Kosher for Passover food products to needy families and Holocaust survivors.

Those who donated food were treated to a selfie with Betar’s lion mascot who was on hand near the truck; and after they took the picture, they posted it on the Betar Yerushalayim official Facebook page. The website staff will select three of the photos: one person will win a signed tee shirt, the second will win a ball signed by the team’s players and the third will win an official scarf and hat.
