In days when loneliness is silent yet painful, Chasdei Naomi is launching a special project to ease the sense of isolation among elderly people and Holocaust survivors in Israel.
How does it work?
Volunteers from the general public make a human connection – a phone call, a short visit, or a virtual conversation – offering moments of listening, support, and emotional warmth to those who truly need it.
Why is it important?
Thousands of elderly individuals suffer from deep loneliness. For many of them, the connection formed through this initiative becomes the only light in their daily routine.
