Across Israel, many Holocaust survivors and elderly individuals live in severe poverty. Heartbreakingly, some are forced to choose between purchasing essential medications or buying food. At Chasdei Naomi, we believe that no one should have to make such choices, especially not in their later years. Every person deserves to age with dignity, warmth, and peace of mind.

Our Winter Campaign was launched to protect thousands of Holocaust survivors and elderly citizens from the harsh cold. Many live in substandard housing, some without windows, others in damp, freezing conditions, relying only on a thin coat for warmth.

To combat this, Chasdei Naomi distributes emergency winter kits, each containing a heater, down comforter, scarf, gloves, and warm clothing.

We remain in close contact with both the survivors and the social workers who support them, ensuring we understand their evolving needs and the real impact of our aid.
