ROSH HASHANAH IS APPROACHING: THOSE MOST IN NEED ARE COUNTING ON OUR HELP

Rosh Hashanah is only a few days away, and families around the world are preparing to welcome the Jewish New Year with festive meals and loved ones gathered around the table.

Unfortunately, once again this year, many people will not be able to afford a holiday meal or celebrate the New Year with the dignity they deserve.

That is why Chasdei Naomi launched its 2026 Rosh Hashanah food distribution project, providing holiday food packages to those who need them most during the Tishrei holidays.

Our goal is to make these holidays a true source of joy for everyone—especially families, elderly people, and Holocaust survivors struggling to make ends meet. With the support of our donors and volunteers, we are working to ensure that no one is left without a proper holiday meal or the opportunity to welcome the New Year with dignity.

Thanks to You, They Will Have a Holiday Meal

What’s Inside This Year’s Rosh Hashanah Food Packages?

Each package includes essential food staples as well as items that bring the spirit and traditions of Rosh Hashanah to the holiday table. These include traditional holiday foods such as honey, dates, honey cookies, and grape juice for Kiddush, along with everyday staples such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, dried legumes, a variety of canned goods, flour, and more.

In addition to these shelf-stable foods, families and individuals receiving assistance will also receive a generous selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, helping them prepare nutritious and delicious meals for the holiday.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these packages will help bring food, dignity, and the joy of the holiday to those who need it most.

How Can You Help Chasdei Naomi?

Our Rosh Hashanah food distribution project is already underway, but there is still time to make a difference.

All of the food distributed by Chasdei Naomi is purchased thanks to donations from the public. As we continue preparing and distributing holiday food packages, your support can help us reach even more people who are struggling to make ends meet.

You can still make a donation to support our 2026 Rosh Hashanah food distribution project. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps us purchase additional food and provide more holiday packages to families in need, elderly people, and Holocaust survivors.

It’s not too late to help. Your donation can help put a holiday meal on someone’s table and bring dignity, hope, and joy to the New Year.
