IF YOU THINK THAT ALL THE CHILDREN FEEL HAPPINESS FROM THE TWO WORDS SUMMER FREEDOM, WELL NOT ALL OF THEM.
THOUSANDS OF SICK CHILDREN HOSPITALIZED DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS, DO NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO ENJOY AND HAVE FUN LIKE ALL OTHER CHILDREN.
THIS IS WHY VOLUNTEERS FROM “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION ARE OPERATING A SPECIAL PROJECT : “HEALTHY SUMMER”.
Within the frame of this project, the “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION volunteers are recruiting magicians, jugglers, medically trained clowns, and any one, who can bring a smile of joy on the children’s faces. This merry band, accompanied by rhythmic music, has rotated between the wards of hospitals, room after room. They pay personal attention to each and every child, make sure to bring happiness to those kids, give them a respectable case of sweets, a personal present and a helium balloon with the Blessing of “FULL RECOVERY”.
This special project takes place during the month of Av summer vacation days at more than 10 hospitals all around the country and at the end of the summer holidays will be finished with a big show at the Safra Hospital at Tel Hashomer.
“THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION volunteers and all those taking part in this project, tell us of the enthusiastic reactions from the hospitalized children, their parents and even the medical teams, which sometimes joined in the party to the greatest joy of all.
Among the hospitals in which these activities will take place, we can name the following hospitals: Assaf Harofe (Tserifin), Mayane Hayeshuah (Bnei Brak), Bikkur Holim and Sha’arei Zedek (Jerusalem), Lanyado (Natanya), Hillel Yaffe (Hadera), Soroka (Beer Sheba), Meir (Kfar Saba), Wolfson (Holon), Safra – Tel Hashomer (Ramat Gan).
For the last 28 years, “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION has been working for the benefit of the needy by supplying them with some 300 tons of food each and every week.
These days in order to help one more poor and hungry child, “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION is starting a new campaign by calling on the public to donate 10 shekels by sending an SMS message to the number 2288 with the word DONATION.
