THE PURIM PARTIES ORGANIZED BY “THE HASDEI NAOMI” VOLUNTEERS THIS WEEK IN THE WARDS OF HOSPITALS AROUND THE COUNTRY SUCCEEDED IN BRINGING A SMILE OF HAPPINESS AND HOPE TO THE CHILDREN AND HELPED THEM FORGET THE DRUDGING PAIN ROUTINE, PERTAINING TO THE HOSPITAL WALLS.
This week, within the hospitals walls around the country, on the occasion of the “PURIM FESTIVAL”, the ambiance and happy sounds of Purim music have replaced the medical atmosphere, and this due to the volunteers of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION, who have organized a series of giant parties in the children wards.
For some days before the Festival, various activities took place, during which the volunteers danced with hundreds of children, whilst paying a special attention to bring a smile of joy on the faces of each of the numerous participants.
Everybody was swept away by the merry ambiance, and then a fascinating show of jugglers surprised the spectators and left them all flabbergasted, children as well as parents and companions.
At the end of the show, the children enjoyed a wide range of various activities and challenging games in a giant playground that was installed with the help of companies, operating children open activities, which volunteered and contributed the games for this big project of happiness. Various artists volunteered to participate in all the Festival parties at the shows with music and melodies, dances and songs for the happy “PURIM FESTIVAL” together with hope and faith songs mixes. Most exciting was to watch the happiness of the children, who were carried on the arms with a smile of joy on their faces, hiding for a short while other features of suffering and pain.
During all that time, huge food stands, organized by “THE HASDEI NAOMI” volunteers, were operating at full production and offered a royal array of sandwiches, snacks, cotton candy, popcorn, and all types and colors of beverages to the children, their parents and members of the medical teams. The happy children received also a personal “PURIM” present together with heartfelt wishes of full and prompt recovery, a gift of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION.
The Chairman of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION, Rabbi Yossef Cohen blessed the children and wished that the “PURIM HAPPINESS” would bring to them happiness for all the coming year, and thanked the ORGANIZATION volunteers for their blessed activity, which has brought sounds of hope.
