“There is no reason to pay the incredible prices, resulting from higher brokerage gap between the purchased price from the supplier or manufacturer, and the final price at the store. You can earn and you may earn but this must remain in proportion.” Words of MK Zevulun Orlev, from Habayit Hayehudi faction, during the special tour he made to the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization centres.
The tour began by a visit to the Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen”, where every night four weddings free of charge are held for orphans and at a symbolic price for the underprivileged.
Rabbi Yossef Cohen, Chairman of the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization explained that the halls had been especially built on a high standard level, to give them a feeling of equals among equals. “If it would look like Halls for poor people, then the needy would not have their weddings here”.
From there, the tour continued to “Hessed Neto”, a unique complex of the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization, which is used as a regular shop selling everything, but at cost price without brokers’ gaps, with savings amounting to hundreds and thousands of dollars.
From there the tour went on to the highlight point, the “emergency storage” of the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization. There a group of soldiers from the Engineering Corps squad commander course worked with full energy at packing food boxes, and also sorting and packing fruits and vegetables for the needy. MK Zevulun Orlev, rolled up his sleeves, took over and started to help the soldiers in their work.
